Shipping and Delivery of Light Fittings and Accessories

Stock - If an Item is currently out of stock we shall endeavour to contact the customer within 24 Hours of the order being placed, to advise the exact deliver window in which the item may be expected to be received. The customer may without charge cancel the order and receive a full refund as long as the item has not been dispatched when the customer requests the cancellation.

The following table shows the delivery charges for all of our sites. Please ensure you look carefully which site you are currently on and refer to the corresponding table below. All costs exclude VAT on deliveries below.

Light Bulbs and Fluorescent tubes - Next Day delivery Orders for all First Light Direct products must be with us by 12 Noon and is only available on request. Various exceptions apply in particular fluorescent tubes.

Days shown for delivery are working days and therefore exclude all UK public holidays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Days quoted are always working days.

ALL DELIVERIES MUST BE SIGNED FOR. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN THE DELIVERY BEING RETUNED TO FIRST LIGHT DIRECT AND A REDELIVERY CHARGE REQUIRED. NO REFUND FOR DELIVERY CHARGES WILL BE GIVEN IF YOU FAIL TO RECEIVE THE SERVICE THAT HAS BEEN SUPPLIED.

Customer should note that should a pallet be required to undertake the delivery additional costs will be incurred and these shall need to be paid by the customer prior to any release of goods.

Note: Should you select a mix of different products the highest carriage price will apply.

All of our carriers deliver up to 6.30pm each working day, unfortunately we can’t set a timed delivery for you, nor can we contact the delivery drivers.

On Delivery of all Orders You Should do the following;

Immediately on delivery it is essential that you check the goods to ensure that they are correct and not damaged. You are required to contact us within 24 hours of arrival should the goods be either incorrect or damaged.

In the case of incorrect goods these shall be checked against our real time stock system to ascertain the necessary information, and we shall contact you immediately to arrange either collection or delivery of replacement goods.
